Hi there, I’m a mother of two and wife to a disabled veteran. We became homeless in August of last year and have traveled from Oregon to Arizona as it’s much nicer to winter here. We’ve fallen in love with the state and both my husband and boys talk about the Grand Canyon so much. It’s definitely on all of our bucket lists, but being homeless with a small income leaves us out of enjoying most things like this. Thank you for taking time to read, whoever does get this grant is very lucky, and you are awesome for providing the opportunity!

This grant would check a major marker off our families bucket list. We’re a homeless family of four. My husband is medically retired from the AF, and our kids are 13 and 10. Living outside isn’t always the easiest, and something like this would make our entire year, and would be remembered for many to come.
