I am retired due to a disability which gives me ample opportunity to seek things that others miss. My sense of curiosity is strong, I want to see and know as much as I can. When I see something out of the ordinary I love sharing those with the world. Along with my curiosity, I have a strong imagination (which earns eye rolls from my bride). My other passions are painting with acrylic and resin as well as writing. I have four books published and have sold copies of my artwork.

Butterflies For Attie

Our daughter Attie loves butterflies. Sadly she took her own life when she was in her teens. This painting is my thoughts on her going to heaven.

As mentioned earlier, I am retired due to a disability and live on a fixed income. I would use this grant to travel to other areas to find more beautiful and unusual items. It would also be used to help purchase art supplies.
