America's Favorite Photos · Exposure Grant
Wildlife photography and wildlife rehabilitation are close to my heart. I love photographing animals, but I also love learning their stories and seeing the work that goes into giving injured, orphaned, or rescued animals another chance. There is something incredibly powerful about capturing an animal not simply as a subject, but as a living being with its own story, personality, and journey. Wildlife and landscape photography are what I naturally gravitate toward most. I love being outdoors and waiting for those unexpected moments-a particular expression, movement, interaction, or glimpse of an animal in its natural environment. Those moments can be fleeting, which makes capturing them even more meaningful to me. I am also drawn to emotional and powerful imagery in general. I love statement pieces that make you stop and look, photographs that leave you thinking about the emotion behind someone’s face, the story behind an animal’s eyes, or the intimacy communicated through body language. I don’t want my photography to simply show you something; I want it to make you feel something.
