I am an obsessed pittie mom living out my daughters legacy by saving the dogs she would have one by one. I am also a property manager and devoted girlfriend. There is no better feeling in the world than watching a rescue dog enjoy its best life.

I am starting this rescue in honor of my daughter, whose life and compassion continue to shape everything we do. She had a deep love for pit bull–type dogs, dogs that are so often misunderstood, overlooked, and left behind. Her dream was to save them, to give them the second chances they deserve.
When she passed away in 2019, that dream was left unfinished. As her mother, and as someone profoundly changed by that loss, I found myself searching for a way to survive the grief. The only way I found purpose again was by stepping into the role she no longer could. I began rescuing the dogs she would have fought for.
While this organization may be newly established, the work behind it is not new. For years, I have been actively involved in rescuing, advocating for, and placing dogs in safe, loving homes, particularly those facing euthanasia in high-kill shelters. This rescue is the formal foundation built from years of hands-on experience, relationships, and an unwavering commitment to these dogs.
This rescue is not just an organization, it is her legacy. Every dog we save is a continuation of her compassion, her voice, and her mission. We focus on pit bull–type dogs facing euthanasia, dogs that are too often judged before they are known, and killed for space rather than behavior.
We are a small but deeply committed rescue. We do not operate from convenience, we operate from urgency, from heart, and from a belief that these dogs deserve more. Funding would allow us to continue pulling dogs from euthanasia lists, provide medical care, secure committed fosters, and ultimately place them into loving homes where they can finally be seen for who they are.
Being awarded this grant would give our newly established rescue the opportunity to expand and save even more lives. It would directly translate into dogs leaving the shelter alive instead of being euthanized, receiving the care they need, and finding the families they deserve.
This work is deeply personal. It is how I carry my daughter forward. It is how I honor her life, by saving the lives she would have saved.
