Fatima Kate

My name is Fatima Kate and I live in rhe Philippines. I started rescuing when I was only about 16 years old. Growing up, my grandma had always been telling me to love animals especially cats, she is the one who introduced me to it and the rest is history. I was juggling my time for studying and rehabilitating cats. I am active in neutering and supporting local adoption. There was a time that I was diagnosed of Tubercolosis but it did not stop me from caring for them. I have about 18 cats that all I rescued in the streets with different health problem, now most of them is turning 5 this year. I am currently caring for almost 50 animals and all the support we get is through our supporter from our rescue instagram page. This August is my 5th year in the rescue work and our rescue instagram being established. If you can check out our page (woof_whiskers_rescue) you can see the work I do to make difference to the lives of these innocent animals. We have only few numbers of supporters and they are the ones that helping us keep on. Thank you for the opportunity of being able to share my story.
