I’m a 35 year old animal sanctuary founder of Fawn’s Fortress Animal Sanctuary who primarily focuses on extra large breed dogs in need of rescue as well as farmed animals. I’ve been rescuing for over 10 years but officially a non profit for 5. I enjoy giving them the life they’ve always deserved and diving into gardening in my free time.

Rescued because he was an unwanted runt
Chelsea
Rescued because she was behavioral needs and she’s thriving with us now
Nettle
She had a joint infection causing paralysis. We rehabbed her and she’s on all4 legs doing great!
Crow
He was saved and brought up from the south
I hope that the animals at the sanctuary are awarded this grant because we have so many plans to give them even more in life . For example, we are fencing in an acre for the dogs in memory of our senior dog that passed away.

We are about 45% there and this grant would help directly with the lumber and gates.
