Tales for Tails
Children’s reading program in our community cat room.
Bitter Root Humane Association has been the only shelter serving Ravalli County since 1972. We work to build a community where pets and people thrive. Committed to removing obstacles for loving pet owners, we offer the following free services: microchips and ID tags, a pet pantry, and vaccines. We also offer a low cost spay/neuter clinic.
We collaborate with local law enforcement to help lost pets return to owners quickly and with senior and veteran outreach groups to target those populations that might need extra help to keep their pets in their homes.
We assist shelters across the state and around the nation receiving pets to help alleviate our partners under pressure by overcrowding.
