Retired small business owner. been involved with cat rescue and specifically spay neuter since the 70s. founded STSTLT in 2019. Since retiring i raise funds by doing craft shows and markets. May 2025 we had a devestating fire in my office building and lost every thing. despite that we still assisted in 319 surgeries at an expense of just over $21,000. i don't have expertise in grant writing so thank you fire allowing my story and opportunity

> We are tackling an almost impossible job. There are very few vets willing to do these surgeries and the costs are so high many people just don't get it done adding to the problem
> We serve a population solely dependent on humans who mostly don't care or are uneducated on the issue
> MOST IMPORTANT is all the shelters, rescues or fosters CAN'T keep up because of the overpopulation as it currently exists
