I adopted Roxie from an organization called Circle Tail. I adopted her as a pup. A few years after adopting Rox, I found out she was a diabetic. We have managed well since then. However between her ailments and my health issues with aneurysms, it was difficult, financially. Due to Roxie's diabetes, we are unable to find pet insurance.  Currently, Roxie has to have a surgery for a gallbladder mucocele and choleocystis. We are stretched to the limit financially. I love my pup and I would do anything to save her. I have already applied for a loan, but things will be tight for us. Due to her diabetes I must keep her on her special prescription diet and her insulin. I can cut my own food allowance, but I can't and won't  cut hers. A grant would help us out tremendously.
