Nicole Ashley Lindner

I have a deep love for animals and a strong belief that they deserve safety, care, and a chance at a better life. My own dog, Boone, has been a constant companion and has shown me firsthand the impact that love, trust, and stability can have on an animal. I stay involved in my local community and support animal-focused efforts through events, outreach, and helping connect people to meaningful causes. I’m especially passionate about rescue work that not only helps animals in the moment but also creates long-term change through education and community involvement. Supporting animal rescue isn’t just something I care about—it’s something I feel genuinely connected to and committed to being a part of whenever I can.

I should be awarded this grant because I have firsthand experience stepping in when an animal truly needed help. I took in a dog named Honey who had been severely neglected—she came with significant medical issues and behavioral challenges that required immediate attention, patience, and ongoing training.

Rehabilitating and rehoming her was not easy, but it reinforced my deep commitment to animal rescue. It showed me what it really takes—time, resources, consistency, and heart—to give an animal a second chance at a safe and stable life.

This experience wasn’t just meaningful, it was hands-on. I understand the reality of rescue work, and I’m committed to continuing to support animals in need. This grant would directly help me continue that kind of impact—providing care, rehabilitation, and better outcomes for animals like Honey.
