I am a rescue for many types of animals. I started 24 years ago as a reptile and exotics rescue, but over time I have become kind of an everything rescue. I am, as far as I know, the only rescue who charges no fees for everything that I do, depending heavily on donations to survive, along with every cent I earn. We have dogs, cats, possums, parrots, chickens, ducks, pigs, turtles, tortoises, big lizards, little cute lizards, snakes, and anything else at any given time. We currently have over 100 animals here. I love animals and have dedicated my life to saving those who are highly aggressive or have behavioral issues. I am the last chance fr a lot of these animals. Being as I work with the angry critters, I am covered in scars.

This grant will help Creepy Crawlies rescue to get a little caught up on bills. Caring for over 100 animals, while charging no fees, is difficult. The rescue is about 5,000 dollars behind on bills at this point, and this would at least hold off the collectors for a little bit if I gave each one a quarter of it, lol. I am not a 501 c3, for a few reasons, but the biggest is that I help a lot of animals that are not legal to be in my state. I find homes in states where they are legal and get them there. I do not think a pet should have to die because a person smuggled it in to my state.
