About Me – Animal Rescue Grant Application My name is Terri Jacqueline Feinstein, and I am deeply committed to the care, protection, and advocacy of animals, particularly those who are vulnerable, neglected, or at risk of being displaced. I have spent years caring for a wide range of animals, including dogs, cats, horses, and other farm animals, many of whom required specialized attention, rehabilitation, and long-term care. My passion for animal rescue comes not only from experience, but from a profound personal connection to the animals I have cared for. I have provided food, shelter, medical attention, and emotional care to animals in need, often under challenging circumstances. Through this work, I have developed hands-on knowledge in animal care, behavioral needs, and the importance of humane treatment. I have also experienced firsthand the devastating consequences that can occur when animals are removed, displaced, or placed into systems that do not prioritize their well-being or the rights of their owners. These experiences have strengthened my resolve to advocate for ethical rescue practices, transparency, and accountability in animal welfare. My goal is to establish and expand a rescue effort that prioritizes rehabilitation, reunification when appropriate, and lifelong safe placement for animals. I am especially focused on creating a safe haven for animals who have been neglected, wrongfully displaced, or are at risk of euthanasia. With grant support, I plan to provide essential resources including proper shelter, veterinary care, nutrition, and transportation for rescued animals. I am committed to ensuring that every animal in my care is treated with dignity, compassion, and respect. This grant would not only support my efforts—it would directly impact the lives of animals who deserve a second chance. Thank you for considering my application.

My experience spans the care of multiple species, including dogs, cats, and large animals, many of which required ongoing attention, rehabilitation, and protection. I understand the realities of rescue work—not just the compassion it requires, but the time, physical effort, and financial strain involved. This grant would allow me to continue that work in a more stable, structured, and impactful way.
What sets me apart is my deep personal investment in doing what is right for the animals. I have witnessed and experienced situations where animals were not treated with the care, fairness, or dignity they deserve. Rather than walking away, those experiences strengthened my resolve to be part of the solution and to advocate for higher standards in rescue and care.

This grant would not only support my continued efforts, but it would expand my ability to rescue, rehabilitate, and protect animals who might otherwise have no chance. I am dedicated to giving them that chance.
